In Texas they don’t mow the medians, so that wildflowers can grow. I think that’s one of the best things I’ve ever heard.

May is a hectic month

I’m waiting for Caitlin to get here so we can late(ish) night bake at Eli’s.  The month of May has been pretty hectic in recent years passed and this one is no different.  This month is Eli’s Community Celebration which is the 2nd busiest time of year after the Pumpkin Festival and we’re kind of running behind.  On top of that, Caitlin and I have a graduation party and 2 big weddings to prepare for.  1 of which we are both bridesmaids.  On TOP top of that, it’s my birthday on the 15th, I’m graduating from a 2 year institution after 3 years of torment, and Caitlin and I need to start looking for jobs and getting serious about apartments in Austin.  I really don’t mean to complain.  As little as I contribute to this blog, I just wanted to post something that expressed how grateful I am to have such supportive friends who allow us to have these experiences and opportunities.  Although there is craziness ahead, it only means we are going to have some awesome blog posts coming up!!!  So even though it takes us (mostly me) a really long time to post anything, we are still going strong and will eventually have some nice stories to share with you.

Happy Spring!
